Welcome to Core Futsal. By registering for our programs, you ("Parent/Guardian") agree to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and the participating player ("Player"). Please read these terms carefully before registration.
Agreement to Terms
By completing registration and participating in Core Futsal programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and SafeSport policies.
1. Program Participation
1.1 Eligibility
Players must:
- Be within the specified age groups (U13/U14 or High School)
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Have appropriate medical clearance for physical activity
- Be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all training sessions
1.2 Registration
Registration:
- Must be completed by a parent or legal guardian
- Requires accurate and complete information
- Is subject to availability and acceptance by Core Futsal
- Does not guarantee placement on tournament teams
1.3 Parent/Guardian Attendance
REQUIRED: A parent or legal guardian must be present at all training sessions for safety and supervision purposes. Failure to comply may result in the player being excluded from the session without refund.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Drop-In Sessions
- Cost: $40 per session
- Payment Due: At the end of each session
- Accepted Payment Methods: Cash or Venmo
- No Refunds: Payment is non-refundable once the session has occurred
2.2 Tournament Teams
- Selection: Tournament team rosters are at the discretion of coaching staff
- Fees: Tournament fees typically range from $120-$150 per player and must be paid by the specified deadline
- Fee Coverage: Tournament fees include entry fees, coaching costs, and shared expenses
- Additional Costs: Travel, accommodations, and meals are the responsibility of families
- Late Payment: Late payments may result in removal from tournament roster
- Refund Policy: Tournament fees are non-refundable once submitted to tournament organizers (typically 2 weeks before the event)
2.3 Uniform and Equipment Costs
- Players may be required to purchase Core Futsal training uniforms
- Uniform costs are separate from session fees
- Equipment (balls, cones, etc.) is provided by Core Futsal
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 Weather-Related Cancellations
- Core Futsal reserves the right to cancel sessions due to weather or facility issues
- Weather updates will be communicated via Spond app at least 2 hours before scheduled session
- Cancelled sessions may be rescheduled when possible
- No refunds are provided for weather-related cancellations
3.2 Facility Closures
- If a facility closes unexpectedly, we will attempt to secure an alternate location
- If no alternate location is available, the session will be cancelled without refund
3.3 Player Absence
- No refunds or credits for missed sessions due to player illness, vacation, or other conflicts
- Please notify coaches if your player will be absent
3.4 Program Cancellation by Core Futsal
- If Core Futsal cancels a program or session, participants will receive notice and a full refund for that session
- Core Futsal is not liable for any additional costs (travel, etc.) incurred by families
4. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
4.1 Acknowledgment of Risk
Parent/Guardian acknowledges that:
- Soccer/futsal is a physical contact sport with inherent risks
- Participation may result in injury, including but not limited to: sprains, fractures, concussions, or other physical harm
- Core Futsal cannot guarantee the safety of participants
- Players participate at their own risk
4.2 Waiver and Release
Parent/Guardian agrees to:
- Waive all claims against Core Futsal, its coaches, staff, volunteers, facility partners, and sponsors for any injury or loss arising from participation
- Release and hold harmless Core Futsal from any liability for injuries sustained during normal program activities
- Accept responsibility for medical expenses resulting from injuries sustained during participation
- Agree to indemnify Core Futsal against third-party claims arising from the player's participation
4.3 Medical Authorization
Parent/Guardian authorizes Core Futsal staff to:
- Administer basic first aid as needed
- Seek emergency medical treatment if necessary
- Contact emergency services (911) in case of serious injury
- Transport player to medical facility if necessary
Parent/Guardian is responsible for all medical costs.
4.4 Insurance
- Core Futsal maintains general liability insurance
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for securing their own health insurance for players
- Core Futsal's insurance is secondary to family health insurance
5. Code of Conduct
5.1 Player Conduct
Players are expected to:
- Treat coaches, teammates, opponents, and referees with respect
- Follow instructions from coaches and staff
- Arrive on time and prepared for sessions
- Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times
- Take care of facility property and equipment
5.2 Parent/Guardian Conduct
Parents/Guardians are expected to:
- Be present at all training sessions
- Support coaching staff and program decisions
- Refrain from coaching from the sidelines
- Model positive behavior for players
- Address concerns directly with coaching staff in a respectful manner
5.3 Zero Tolerance Policy
Core Futsal maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind
- Abusive language or behavior
- Physical violence or threats
- Hazing or initiation rituals
- Violations of SafeSport policies
5.4 Disciplinary Action
Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in:
- Verbal warning
- Suspension from training sessions
- Removal from tournament teams
- Permanent dismissal from the program without refund
Core Futsal reserves the right to determine appropriate disciplinary action based on the severity of the violation.
6. Media Release
6.1 Photo and Video Authorization
Parent/Guardian grants Core Futsal permission to:
- Photograph and video record the player during training and tournaments
- Use such images/videos for marketing and promotional purposes
- Post content on website, social media, and promotional materials
- Share content with media outlets and partners
6.2 Opt-Out
Parent/Guardian may opt out of media use by:
- Submitting written request to info@corefutsal.com
- Requesting removal of specific images at any time
6.3 No Compensation
Parent/Guardian acknowledges that no compensation will be provided for media use.
7. Medical and Health Information
7.1 Disclosure Requirement
Parent/Guardian must disclose:
- All medical conditions that may affect participation
- Allergies (food, medication, environmental)
- Current medications
- Previous injuries or surgeries
- Any physical or mental health limitations
7.2 Medical Clearance
Parent/Guardian certifies that:
- Player is physically able to participate in vigorous physical activity
- Player has received medical clearance if recovering from injury or illness
- Parent/Guardian will notify Core Futsal of any changes to player's health status
7.3 Concussion Protocol
- Players suspected of concussion will be immediately removed from activity
- Medical clearance required before returning to play
- Core Futsal follows CDC concussion guidelines
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Core Futsal Trademarks
- Core Futsal name, logo, and branding are protected intellectual property
- Unauthorized use of Core Futsal trademarks is prohibited
- Players may wear Core Futsal uniforms only for program-related activities
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By registering, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Communication
10.1 Official Communication Channels
- Spond App: Primary channel for schedule updates and session reminders
- Email: Important announcements and administrative matters
- Instagram: Program updates and community engagement
10.2 Response Time
- Core Futsal will respond to inquiries within 48 hours (business days)
- Emergency matters should be communicated by phone
11. Modifications to Programs
Core Futsal reserves the right to:
- Modify training schedules and locations
- Change coaching staff assignments
- Adjust program offerings
- Update fees with 30 days' notice
Material changes will be communicated via email and Spond app.
12. Termination
12.1 Termination by Parent/Guardian
- Parent/Guardian may withdraw player at any time
- No refunds for prepaid sessions or tournament fees
- Written notice requested but not required
12.2 Termination by Core Futsal
Core Futsal may terminate participation for:
- Violation of Code of Conduct
- Non-payment of fees
- Safety concerns
- Failure to comply with program requirements
Termination by Core Futsal does not entitle participants to refunds.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
Before pursuing formal action, parties agree to attempt informal resolution by:
- Discussing concerns directly with coaching staff
- Escalating to program director if needed
- Allowing 14 days for resolution attempts
13.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and SafeSport policies, constitute the entire agreement between Parent/Guardian and Core Futsal regarding program participation.
16. Changes to Terms
Core Futsal may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
